This is the first monthly tracking update for the Elite 4 Portfolio. To see the original research and the logic behind these selections, visit the Free Tipster Portfolio .

TL;DR: March 2026 Portfolio Update

The “Elite 4” strategy just delivered a massive proof-of-concept month, turning a £1,000 starting bank into £2,692.

  • Total Profit: +£1,692 Monthly ROI: 87%
  • Key Performer: Value Bet + hit a “black swan” variance swing, returning a staggering 131.3% ROI.
  • Switching to Joydi Multiples proved decisive, delivering a 38% ROI – 7x more efficient than following the full service.
  • Risk Management: Having recouped the entire starting capital in 31 days, I am withdrawing the original £1,000. I am now “playing with the house money,” continuing into April with a £1,692 profit-bank and a disciplined 10% stake increase.

March Monthly Performance Update: Strategic Pivots, Black Swans, and the ‘House Money’ Move

March 2026 served as a massive proof-of-concept. While our core models provided steady growth, our “Growth Accelerator” Value Bet+ hit a significant variance swing in our favour, resulting in a standout month for the portfolio.

  • Total Portfolio Profit: +£1,692
  • Portfolio Monthly ROI: 87%

Note: Betting ALL of Joydi’s March tips produced a profit of £46 from a total of £915 stakes – a 5% ROI. Compare that to betting the multiples-only tips that produced £131 profit from £345 total stakes – a 7-times better ROI of 38%.

Expert Analysis: Variance vs. Edge

While Value Bet + delivered a staggering £1123 profit this month, it is vital to distinguish between a structural edge and positive variance. At average odds of 17.35, the “math” dictates that we should expect long losing streaks.

In professional portfolio management, we call this a “fat tail” or “black swan” event. We enjoy the growth, but we do not move the goalposts on our risk management because of it. We remain disciplined, knowing that a “mean reversion” is likely in the coming months.

Value Bet+ stayed well clear of Cheltenham and had only two tips both of which lost. Hereford on the other hand was a great success for him – a staggering 528% ROI from only 7 tips.  Wolverhampton, on the other hand, turned into a total nighmare with all 14 of his tips losing.

Strategic Pivot: Why “Joydi Multiples” Won

One of the key takeaways from this month was the validation of the Joydi Multiples pivot. By stripping away the high-volume single bets and focusing strictly on the multiples, we saw the win rate climb to a massive 78%. This significantly reduces the “Staking Stress” on the total bankroll. While the profit figure (£131) looks small compared to the racing outliers, this 38% ROI represents the “Stability” tier of our portfolio – providing the necessary cushion to keep the bankroll moving upward even when the high-odds longshots aren’t landing.

Market Context: The International Break

The end of March was dominated by the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, which Main Draws Model stayed away from. The high-stakes nature of the play-offs – notably the shock penalty shootout that saw Italy miss out on their third straight World Cup – led to cagey, defensive football.

Main Draws Model focussed predomintly on the English Premier and German Bunderliga this month and saw a 25% ROI and a 19% ROI respectively.

End Of Month Summary

Staking & Compounding Status: The bankroll has grown from £1,000 to £2,692. Following our “Slow Up, Fast Down” rule, April stakes will be adjusted upward by a maximum of 15%. This locks in our March gains while ensuring we aren’t over-exposed if the market turns.
But STOP! There are two possible routes I can take here:

  1. Increase stakes based on current bank and continue (which is what you would typically do)
    OR
  2. Withdraw my £1,000 original bank and continue betting using just the bookies money

I would have been more than happy increasing the bank from £1,000 to £1,692 in just one month so, in this case, I’m withdrawing my original £1,000 and continuing with £1,692 with slighly increased stakes.
