Footbets
Football tipster Footbets started on Tipstrr in January this year – 8 months ago.
Performance so far at advised stakes?
Eight consecutive profitable months and over 20% ROI.
Cost?
Zero, nothing, nada – completely free tips – for now – but that could change at any time – and if this performance continues you can bet that’ll be sooner rather than later.
An average of one tip a day published mostly over 12 hours ahead of the matches is going to be really easy to follow.
Let’s have a quick look at Footbets.
Performance of Advised versus Level stakes
At advised stakes the ROI has been an impressive 23%.
But use level-stakes (10 points per bet) and the ROI jumps to a head-spinning 46%.
BUT with level-staking you would have suffered 2 months losses in April and May compared with 7 consecutive profitable months.
Footbets recommend staking plan
Footbets recommends the following staking approach:
Stake 10 –> 3 % of the bank
Stake 5 –> 1.5 % of the bank
Stake 1 –> 0.1 % of the bank (for accas or high odds)
Footbets however hasn’t restricted himself to 1, 5, and 10 points in his tips. They range right across the 1 to 10 scale.
But assuming 1-4 points is 0.1% of bank, 5-8 points is 1.5% of bank and 9-10 points is 3% of bank here’s how the percentage of bank staking compares with using the advised staking points.
As you can see, over the longer-term adopting a percentage-of-bank-stakes approach has produced more profit. But really only recently.
Tips Market Performance
Over 90% of tips are either Accumulators (doubles, trebles, etc) or in the Half-time/Full-time market.
Accumulators are advised at 9 or 10 points and have a good 35% Win Rate at Average Odds of 4.55 delivering over 20% ROI.
HT/FT tips are advised typically at 1 or 2 points because the average odds are high at 26’s (25/1). WIn Rate on these is much lower at 11% but they have produced over 40% ROI.
Does this mean it might be worth following the HT/FT tips on their own? – perhaps – but the number of tips right now is too low to make any recommendation.
Market type | Tips | Strike rate | Profit | ROI | Avg. odds | Avg Stake |
Accumulator | 103 | 35% | 194.34 | 20.50% | 4.55 | 9 |
HT/FT | 62 | 11% | 61.00 | 42.10% | 26.55 | 2 |
1X2 | 7 | 71% | 46.94 | 67.10% | 2.61 | 10 |
Asian handicap | 3 | 33% | 4.30 | 14.30% | 2.67 | 10 |
Correct score | 2 | 0% | -3.00 | -100.00% | 36 | 2 |
Over/under | 2 | 0% | -6.00 | -100.00% | 8 | 3 |
Clean sheet | 1 | 100% | 8.30 | 83.00% | 1.83 | 10 |
Accumulators Breakdown
The lion’s share of Accumulators are Doubles and Trebles with Doubles showing a relatively poor ROI at only 5%.
Worth only doing Trebles and Fourfolds? Again – too few tips to make any recommendation.
Market type | Tips | Strike rate | Profit | ROI | Avg. odds | AVG STK |
Double | 70 | 37% | 36.06 | 5.40% | 7.26 | 9 |
Treble | 25 | 32% | 100.49 | 46% | 11.15 | 9 |
Fourfold | 8 | 25% | 57.81 | 93% | 12.72 | 8 |
Accumulators | 103 | 35% | 194.34 | 20.50% | 4.55 | 9 |
Conclusion
“Free” is always good in my book.
And producing over 20% ROI with one tip a day published well ahead of the matches – looks like a no-brainer to me.
Follow the advised stakes using a percentage of available betting and you could have almost trebled your original bank in the 8 months since January.
