My Tipstrr Portfolio versus rest of TipstrrPRO

In March 2019 I chose two Tipstrr tipsters Sports Insider and Better Bettor (SI+BB) for my tipster portfolio. Here is how they have performed against the rest of the TipstrrPRO stable.

To be able to make the comparison of my SB+BB portfolio against the 8 other tipsters in the REST I have used the average ROI for each group.

Better ROI

The graph above shows the SI+BB portfolio performed better than the REST in 7 out of the 10 months.

For the whole 10 months from Aug’18 to May’19 SI+BB portfolio delivered an average ROI of 13.83% compared to 13.15% produced by the REST of the TipstrrPRO tipsters.

Overall then SI+BB has had a marginally better ROI than the other 8 tipsters in the TipstrrPRO group.

But there’s a bigger payoff.

The Bigger Payoff

I’m getting a better ROI from my SI+BB portfolio but this 2-tipster team is delivering other benefits as well.

Less time placing bets

The SI+BB portfolio average number of tips per month is 168 – that’s about 5 a day. The REST has an average of 554 tips/month or about 18 tips/day. That’s 3 times more bets to place meaning more of your time on bookmaker sites placing bets.

Less money in stakes

On average you’ll be betting 150 points per day with the REST as opposed to around 50 points with SI+BB portfolio. At £10 per point, this translates to £1500 of bets per day or £500 of bets per day. Either number sounds a bit too rich for most if not all punters. You would need a very substantial betting bank to support that level of betting. Maybe £2 points, £100 per day for SI+BB portfolio would be possible.

Less subscription cost

The difference in subscription costs is equally substantial.

I’m using monthly subscription costs for comparison purposes although longer subscription periods are available and will reduce the per month cost.

The monthly subscription cost of the SI+BB portfolio is £68. This £68 buys you an average 13.83% ROI. This equates to £4.91 per 1%ROI

Monthly subscription cost for the 8 tipsters in the REST group is £362 (5 times more) and gets you roughly the same average ROI of 13.15% which equates to £19.92 per 1%ROI.

SI+BB is therefore 4 times better value for money in cost per 1%ROI terms. (£4.91 verses £19.92)

Tipster portfolio is better

This is confirmation yet again that a well-chosen portfolio of tipsters is the better, more balanced and more cost-effective approach to making money from betting.
