Tipstrr introduced half-yearly rankings to give us a more rounded look at the longer-term capabilities of their top-performing tipsters, as opposed to their monthly lists which offer a short-term snapshot of decent recent form.
This is all great information to help you make an informed decision on a particular tipster.
But, I think we can do better.
How about finding tipsters who are the most consistent tipsters?
How about finding tipsters who are always in the Top-10 over 3-months and over 6-months and over 12-months?
That would suggest there’s something pretty special about the consistency of that service.

Here’s how the performance of the top 10 tipsters in this list looks over the past 12 – 18 months.
Interpreting the performance graphs you can see:
in 10th place Dartmouth Racing looks a bit too erratic – a flat few months followed by big profits followed by ups and downs going pretty much nowhere. And that ELLR of 103 – is sjust far too high.
Outsiderspeedpicks looks very consistent. It ticks all the boxes. Over 40% ROI. 80% profitable months on an average 3 tips a day. A tolerable Estimated Longest Losing Run (ELLR) of 35 and a P-value of less than 0.05%.
Smallfieldpunting a great 92% profitable months and over 40% ROI. The high ELLR of 45 is the one slight negative here.
Read Between The Lines good winning months percentage and over 40% ROI the only downside for Read Between the Lines is the 0.05 p-value which is just on the “acceptable/good” borderline – more continued success with more tips could see this figure improve.
You could make a case for following any of these three tipsters. High ROI and consistent.
But it is …
UNDERDOG Racing Tips who is the standout tipster in this list. Ticking more boxes than any of the others.
Over 40% ROI. 78% profitable months on an average 4 tips a day and a tolerable ELLR of 33 with an extremely low p-value .
Underdog Racing Tips shows a strong upward profit trend that sticks very close to the trend line indicating low volaitlity.
The remainder of the tipsters have ROIs less than 40% and begin to tick less boxes in different criteria as you can see in the table below.

With high ROI and solid consistency you could follow any of best tipsters in this list.
In fact five of these best tipsters are still in this consistent tipsters list some 9 months later after I did the same analysis in November last year.
UNDERDOG Racing Tips, On The Money Tips, ChampionsTips1, On Target Tips and TheBanker are still there – still performing consistently.
Outsiderspeedpicks picks race winners only and advises at 1 point per tip. The Estimated Longest Losing Run (ELLR) of 35 and a P-value of less than 0.05% are two small negatives.
Smallfieldpunting Is looking for value in horses who will win small race fields. It looks to be paying off but the ELLR of 45 is something that could test your resolve while following this tipster.
Read Between The Lines is predominantly each-way tips the 0.05 p-value (skill versus luck) is just on the “acceptable/good” borderline – more continued success with more tips could see this figure improve.
UNDERDOG Racing Tips is another each-way tipster. The relatively high win rate keeps the losing runs to a minimum while the high ROI and consistency makes it the standout service to follow..
